Skill Set Courses
Our skills sets give you the training you need quickly to get the job you want. Skill sets are designed to give you specific workplace skills and are made up of one or more units of competency linking to an industry need or requirements. Upon completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, in some cases this may give you credit towards a higher qualification. Our skills sets will help you gain skills in a specific area to help you get a promotion, change careers or to just learn for fun.

Our qualifications align with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) The AQF ensures consistent standards and quality in qualifications across Australia.
Traineeships & Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships and traineeships combine work-based training with an employer and formal training. They are established under training contracts between the employer and the apprentice or trainee and are regulated by the government. They are a great way to be paid for work while you learn and earn a qualification. NSW apprentices and new-entrant trainees may be eligible for a subsidy under the Smart and Skilled program for the qualification that supports their apprenticeship or traineeship.
Apprenticeship
What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships offer you the best of work and study. You train on the job, study and earn an income all while working towards becoming a qualified tradesperson.
How long does it take?
An apprenticeship normally takes three to four years in traditional trade areas like plumbing. Three to four years may seem like a long time, but remember you’re working towards become fully qualified and getting hands-on experience, and you get paid for it
Who can become an Apprentice?
- You don’t need a school certificate or any other qualification.
- Year 10, 11 and 12 students, school leavers, people re-entering the workforce or professionals.
Traineeship
What is a traineeship?
Traineeships are similar to apprenticeships but concentrate on vocational or job areas such as business or individual support.
How long does it take?
A traineeship lasts one to two years. You’ll learn, work and earn, and you will receive your qualification when you successfully complete it.
Who can become a Trainee?
- You don’t need a school certificate or any other qualification.
- Year 10, 11 and 12 students, school leavers, people re-entering the workforce or professionals.
What’s in it for you?
- Paid employment under an appropriate industrial arrangement
- A training agreement between the employer and apprentice or trainee, which is registered with the NSW Department of industry
- Structured on-the-job training
- A nationally recognised qualification

Non Accredited Adult Education & Training Courses
Foundational Skills Programs
These new non-accredited short courses are designed to meet both individual and organisational needs. Students will receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the program.
Non accredited short courses or professional development can also be developed and contextualised to meet your workforce training needs.
